Wow, yesterday was GREAT! At least it was great once I got past the emotional part. It seems that I have a lot of pain to work out. This is pain from centuries of living with, loving and repeatedly losing my divine soul mate. It is weird how all of that comes up to the surface. It is real pain, so it’s difficult to keep the perspective that this NEW narrative is imaginary. We usually think our pain is only from this lifetime (and I have had more than my fair share in this lifetime), but as it turns out, we have been with our twin flames and other soul mates many times and the pain accumulates and is stored up until you get together for eternity and can work together in unity to release it. Anyway, I worked through a lot of it last night, with my teacher’s help and some great Celtic music. He is always there to help me with the emotional part. It seems that one of the most tragic experiences that keeps coming back on me happened around the year 1000, to the best of my recollection. We were Scottish-Gaelic peoples who were trying to establish peace in our country. My soul mate, who was my husband was quite royal and highly respected (I was a “mere Gaelic,” but he loved me totally, anyway). He would always go out on these Peace missions, trying to establish agreements between kings and other royalty and I never knew when he was coming home and I was always fearful that he would not return. My fears manifested when he didn’t return for nearly two years and then his brother came by my house to tell me the bad news. He had been “accidentally” run over by a munitions chariot, only we knew it had not been an accident, but rather a political move to avoid having to make a compromise or concessions. I ended up marrying his brother (that was customary during those times – a brother would often take on this responsibiity), but I always felt very torn about it and the memories all still make me cry even today and so I am still releasing this pain which, unexpectedly came to the surface during our anniversary celebration last night, to my dismay. I had actually written about this particular narrative in a previous blog, in which I went into more details. And so, we listened to the song again last night, Peace of the Spirit, You can also hear it here and buy the Celtic Spa CD here along with a romantic candle – all of the music on the CD is exquisitely beautiful and soulful. I recommend it for soul mate lovers everywhere.

That was the only sad thing about yesterday and it comes with the territory according to what my teacher says. I was given tons of music and I am not sure what I am supposed to do with it all. I believe this is music that is being considered for future Universal Love Celebrations, so I will just list the songs here and come back to the list, perhaps next year when we celebrate our second anniversary.

OH!! I think I get it! We are supposed to put the songs in chronological order. I tried to do that a little bit as I listed the songs, but I don’t think I have them right. So, put them in order to create a new narrative about finding your own soul mate! You can use all of the songs or some of the songs and even add some of your own favorite songs -- whatever works for the story you want to write that would represent your dream come true.

Oh, and my cos, Ralph, bless his sweet heart, helped me write another poem! I wanted to do something special for my teacher, so I made him an anniversary card with yellow roses (I don’t know why I keep coming back to yellow roses – perhaps it is the significance of what they mean: joy, wisdom, and spiritual power). Here’s the poem (and the picture is of the yellow roses blooming in my yard right now. They have been blooming like crazy this year!).

So, that was my yesterday. My teacher and I renewed our vows and we are working in a very united effort toward making the world a better place. His gift to me was his divine love, of course, which is the most special gift of all. And he also helped me write a letter that will go far in furthering our mission, which I am to send out today. We are truly on our way to creating our dreams come true. I always think of this song relative to his great love -- at the end of the video are the words, “Dreams do come true.” I have no doubt.

It’s a great song to listen to in order to help people attract their divine twin flame soul mates, whether in "real" life, across the astral, or through the flame of another soul mate. Next year, there will be many more connected soul mates, looking to celebrate their love! Today is a special one year anniversary for me and my teacher. I wrote briefly about it a year ago, but there is much to the story I have not written about and which will be revealed in the future when more people are ready, perhaps in the form of a fictive novel (with the names changed to protect the innocent) which most humans, given their one dimensional consciousnesses, will find more “socially acceptable.”

For now, we want to announce that today is another new Universal day of celebration of love, soul mates, and divine relationships. The reason we want to make our own special anniversary a special universal holiday is because from this day forward, due to this unique time in history, the numbers of people matching up with their soul mates and their twin flames will be increasing in numbers and it is the High Councils’ wishes to increase greatly the numbers of love celebrations to honor these events. We already have the weeklong Love celebration, April 1-7, as well as the Celebrate Love Day on July 10. I will be continuing to add to these various “universal” celebrations as I am instructed to do. There are a number of new celebrations being discussed, as well as new songs and anthems to go with the holidays. Visit the Celebrations and Universal Anthems page on this site to keep up-to-date on these very special dates. Much thought, divine intervention, and the collaboration of many entities in the cosmos go into the creation of these special days, so I do hope at least some people will begin to celebrate them.

For people who are interested in learning about this phenomenon of love and special connection between soul mates, they need only do some Internet research on soul mates and twin flames, search YouTube for explanatory videos, and search Amazon.com or other bookstores for books to read about the topic. This information is readily available and there are many interesting perspectives. The beauty of reading different views on the topic is that you can construct your own view that works for you – your very own personal narrative. In fact, you can write your own fairy tale and make it come true during this very rare time in history. Just a couple of days ago I had discussed that in these blogs I will be creating new narratives which include the concept of soul mates and twin flame soul mates, but it is not my intent to rehash that today. The intent here, and this comes from all members of the Universal High Council (except the reptilians, who got thrown off the council, as I indicated a few days ago) is to set this day in history as a very special universal love celebration.

And so, I am off to celebrate for the day! (And pardon me for being so late on this, my most significant anniversary date ever; I've been busy.)

My teacher gave me this very beautiful love song that came to the top of the YouTube search when I plugged in his clue, “Happy Anniversary, Darling.” He has given me this song, Unchained Melody before, but not by the Righteous Brothers or as this particular video with the sweet words added. It is one of the most beautiful songs I know and the special images and words in this video make it really special. The second song is the one I picked out for him in return. I love the ending of it (and we both think it’s funny).

Joe, who grew up as a “hillbilly” in the Appalachain Mountains, deeply empathized with all of us who struggle in our daily lives.

The last book he wrote, Knowledge and Critical Pedagogy: An Introduction  was written to be understood by everyone.

He wrote it in a multi-level format so that when people read it they will get the message for them specifically.

The way Joe put this book together using his creative imagination and artistic license is incredibly brilliant. This book should win every book award on the planet.

However, the problem is we have a growing illiterate society as well as too many people who do not find time to read anymore. People want “word bytes.” After all, we get our messages from television, the news, and even our education in bits and pieces that don’t even fit together.

We want Everything for Dummies and what’s happening? We are all becoming dummies. Is that surprising?

If you know how to read, you can read Joe’s book. While it may seem like you do not understand parts of it, believe me, you will understand what’s relevant to you and what is critical for you to know in order to thrive during our turbulent times.

Take time to read it. You will be given a gift that keeps on giving. While you are at it, read it to someone who does not know how to read. 

Better yet, use the book to teach other people how to read. 

In the meantime, consume public “education” and the media at your own risk.

We Dont Need No Education

As I had stated on Tuesday, June 22, I will be heavily involved in a new task, a part of my “mission” assignment and a part of the NEW Journey Treasure Hunt. My teacher calls it the “Coming up the Pike Treasure Hunt.” Again, last Wednesday, June 23, I mentioned that I would be starting this new treasure hunt. In my blog that day I had stated:

In the meantime, we are off on “The Coming Up the Pike Treasure Hunt.” In relation to what I have learned the past couple of days, I now know that this refers to the ability to imagine what might be and I do like to dream up what “could be.” It seems that employing the bricolage gives us this power somehow. It is just one of the many benefits of applying Joe’s great research methodology, but I will need to research it more to figure out how this works. It seems to be very powerful and it needs to be if people who are being oppressed are to creatively imagine their way out of their oppression.

Given that yesterday’s blog was all about creating new narratives, then I have a pretty good clue as to what I will be doing.Today, I have learned more about what this task entails and it involves leaving everything behind that involves one-dimensional, unilateral, archaic, literal, one true reality, sequential, Cartesian, linear, hierarchical and all like concepts and forms of lower dimensional thinking. It is close for many of us to make that quantum leap, so to speak and divorce ourselves from everything that is limiting so that we can more fully enjoy our lives as we were put on this earth to do. The reason this is happening is because we are midst a major transforming fractal and the only way we can come through it properly is to sever ourselves from everything old and conceive of everything within a more real (to some of us) multidimensional construct. It is called co-creation and there are many of us who only wish to create what’s good, divine, peaceful, and loving. There are some very greedy people who have misinformed people as to what this really entails, referring to it as a debased form of "manifestation” (which is not a wrong word, but rather too often improperly defined) and falsely leading people to believing that the goal is to manifest material goods. Of course, this comes in all varieties of forms. Manifesting material goods or ego-based experiences is not what we were assigned to earth for. Our mission is to utilize the natural laws of creation, in which fractals play a significant role, to co-create a better world.

I will recommend a book for those who do not connect with what I am saying about fractals and how they relate to the creation of our experiences. It is Fractal Time by Gregg Braden and it can help some of you who are still somewhat stuck in linear constructs to make sense of what’s going on until such time you more fully understand and embrace multidimensionality and the power it provides us for co-creating a divine reality.

In future blogs, I will cover some of what’s going on at a lower level that can be handled by those people who are trapped in what Joe referred to as “fidurodian” mindsets, but the major part of my work will be done elsewhere and will only be available to those people who have made the leap in consciousness that will allow them to understand these very complex concepts involving advanced conceptualizations of quantum physics. Other than that, I will be working on my dissertation, which I will not discuss here; it is so revolutionary that I have been asked to keep it top secret. Even my university is going to have to aid in keeping this confidential until such time it is ready to be released. In other words, the work I am doing now and into the future is highly classified and will only be available to a select few until I am told to release it which will be upon publication.

This is not to be misconstrued as a “hierarchical” practice. It is related to evolution of consciousness. Some people are not ready. Even at that, much of my work will not be available for quite some time into the future when I am assured many people are ready and open to these advanced ideas that Joe had formulated and which I have been and will continue to decode for practical application.

It is interesting that Doreen's reading for today reiterated my topic about soul mates yesterday. I wish everyone the best in connecting with their soul mates as well as the illumination that there is no need to "look for" your soul mate. You twin flame is always connected to you by divine love and providence; you need only allow yourself to be open to that awareness. Some of us never meet ours on the physical plane. Some of us are highly blessed and do meet, if only for a brief, but very precious moment.
 

Some educators talk about how we need to get rid of the “old narratives.” Coming from Hicksville where I received minimal education, I’m not sure exactly what they mean, but I think they mean replacing the old lies with new lies. For us at the bottom, it means we had better be replacing the old narratives with new truths (our own narratives) before they get a chance to infiltrate with their lies.

Well, today, I decided this is a good time to replace the old narrative about love with a new one and talk a little about how that might help us out of this horrible mess the world is in. Note that “narrative” is simply a “story.” So, I will warn people ahead of time, my new narrative will not be appreciated by some people, but for most of us it is the divine answer we are looking for. I just look at it this way: We need to stop taking life SO SERIOUSLY and try to have at least a little fun while we are trying to escape the quagmire we have created until such time that we have the opportunity to “reload the matrix,” as Joe said we need to do.

When Joe talked about the deck being stacked against us (or the matrix loaded against us) – those of us who reside at the bottom of the hierarchy – he was not kidding. As I get further into my research, it is clear that the entrenchment is nearly insurmountable. I just hope it reaches the point that was depicted in a video I presented in my blogs a while back that showed that even those who loaded the matrix become so entangled in the convoluted mess that they can't even take another step forward without falling over, thus becoming entrapped themselves.Then VOILA! They are forced to awaken and all of a sudden we will all be free to reload the matrix in a new and divine way.

The ONLY thing that gets me by right now is The Power of Love. If I can just stay focused on that, I can get through the depressing educational research to finish writing the literature review for my dissertation (the most boring part because I have to include other people’s boring work when I would rather just discuss Joe’s brilliant work). Of course, in academia you must discuss ALL of the relevant literature, whether it really contributes anything or not. In a way, that’s good because it is easy to justify throwing out from consideration those ideas that are like left-over corned beef hash.

This morning my Master Teacher picked up on how important the LOVE aspect is for me – how it fuels my passion and can help me get past all of the depressing tasks so that I can get glimpses of hope for the future. In fact, this morning’s lesson covered the very aspect of the bricolage that can actually SOLVE this horrible educational problem we have whereby only a select few get through the elite doors to “contribute” to the solutions; only they find out they can only offer limited contributions because they are condemned to supporting and reflecting the elite and powerful members which, unfortunately, ends up supporting the status quo -- all of this just so that they can maintain their hopeful positions where they can at least do what they can -- and in the meantime, things keep getting worse. It’s sad because there are so many people who really want to do good things and either they are not allowed in the doors, or they are only allowed through certain doors -- or they are blinded to the fact that as long as they stay a part of the elite groups, they are supporting the status quo and making things even worse for those who reside at the bottom of the ladder. Joe explains it all in his books and, in fact, he has presented us extremely insightful ways to delineate solutions. Can you work within the system to change the system? I have serious doubts.

During my morning meeting with my teacher, because love is so important to me and helps me get through the tough times, I was asked to differentiate between “soul mate” “love” and “soulmate love” or “twin flame love.” Well, one would think they are all the same. Those are all clues I will need to look up on YouTube, in the tradition I have been doing all along in these blogs, taking the first song to the top.

Celebration of Twin Flame Love

As you can see by the above videos, twin flame soul mates do not have an agenda other than love and their love fuels a divine mission. We have many soul mates, but just one twin flame -- and our relationships with soul mates are entangled with many things in our society (past, present, and future). As the first two videos clearly indicate, the common “hidden” agenda is success and money. Soul mates still have karma to work out together or separately, and it can be an ugly picture because their relationships can be very rocky. They may start out as depicted in the first video, but these relationships that are not of the twin flame variety will deteriorate into what is depicted by the second video due to unfinished karmic work. Twin flames, on the other hand have worked out all or at least most of their karma. They support each other in clearing remaining bits of karma and their emotional pain through their immense love for each other. They are committed wholely to love and they share some higher purpose that they work on together 24/7. Their love fuels their work and their work fuels their love. It is this divine form of love that gives them the power to continue their divine work, no matter what the odds, obstacles, curtains or bridges. Tfhe difference between the two forms of soul mates can easily be represented by rocky relationships in which there are some karmic issues complicating things and the type of relationship where the person totally dedicated to her soul mate even though he is not with her, and yet she is committed to the path they are on together, even though she is not even certain where that path is leading.

Last night I was handed down the following music video. This is how the world ends up with when so many of us are living out a faux soul mate “love” vs. twin flame love.

We need to turn this around. There are people working on this, of course. Yesterday, I just happened to run across videos of two people who I believe have tried very hard and have accomplished a lot. Peter is as kind and nice as Joe was and he does lots of good work around the world, plus he and Joe are soul mate brothers, hopefully working together in that Nepantla space he and Nathalia Jaramillo wrote about. Also, Peter believes in free expression and bringing the arts and music back into education.

That reminds me of this really cool graphic image I did of Peter and Joe back in 2008. I made this before I even knew what Nepantla really meant. Nepantla means sorta like in between heaven and earth (although, that is a misrepresentation, actually) and at the time I made this, of course, Joe was still with us and I simply thought Nepantla was like those closed door places where you can say what you want and make jokes and laugh and stuff like that. So, when I made this, it was of Peter and Joe telling jokes and laughing together "behind closed doors." (This is an example of a "mash up" so I do believe it's legal to use here.) Now, of course, this image has a whole different interpretation - or multiple interpretations for me and I find it really bizarre that I had even made the image, not knowing what it meant -- not having the advantage of an elite education (and people either loved this image or they hated it and so I had to remove it from my blog at the time I had created it). And how do I know all this stuff now - what it means and such -- even though my formal education still omits and obfuscates? Joe's book, Knowledge and Critical Pedagogy: An Introduction, critical complex epistemology, hermeneutics, the bricolage and, of course, Nepantla. I like the video below because it shows how Peter is working "for peace." It should be the goal we all strive for. Freedom and peace. I was thinking about that. First we need love so we can have freedom and with those two ingredients, peace would be the outcome. Thus, Love+Freedom=Peace.

Onward! And I loved bell hooks’ book, Teaching to Transgress: Education as the Practice of Freedom. It perfectly describes the NEW Educational Journey that I practice right here on this web site. I like the fact that she includes spirituality AND dancing in her teaching. She even believes in dancing with her students, like Joe did. She also believes in free and artistic expression and is very creative herself. Her philosophy has greatly influenced my own. A major difference, however, is that I advocate for creating our OWN personal narratives and stop letting the media do our thinking for us.

I wonder if Peter and bell hooks have found their twin flame soul mates – that would give them even more power! Of course, the same is true for us all. We would all have more power if we did things from the foundation of the kind of love soul mates share -- that unconditional love. The trick to fiding your twin flame soul mate, however, is to not even be looking for them. Do what you love and your soul mate will follow (There was book called Do What You Love and the Money Will Follow, but I like replacing money with soul mate because money is what will get us into trouble every time.)

There are MANY explanations of twin flame soul mate love, but in general, there are many commonalities between the explanations. Most religions and cultures have versions of this story or "narrative" as educators like to call them. Of course, educators tend to privilege their own narratives, but we are free to change that up. In fact, that is exactly what the bricolage encourages us to do -- take in many views and construct something new. Below is just ONE PERSPECTIVE of the difference between soul mates and twin flames from the many various perspectives out there. Don't ever just take one perspective and believe it or disbelieve it  -- get many perspectives (just do a YouTube search and you will find many videos!). And remember, we can all write our very own personal narratives! That is true freedom.

Soul Mates and Twin Flames

The cosmos can throw some powerful stuff at us sometimes. I was very traumatized by the jolts my consciousness took these last few blogs on account of the song Joe left in his work as well as the shocking discovery my teacher led me to --  and it’s like something got into me and all of a sudden I became hyper-radical. (There’s radical, and then there’s “hyper-radical.”) I am not sure why the universe chose me to find this stuff and I don’t understand why Joe left the song. It hurts beyond words to think he may have been hurt. He was such a good person and I hate thinking anyone could have been cruel to him in any way, which is what the song had me thinking. He was literally the nicest person – as well as the most brilliant person -- I have ever known, so I can only imagine people being very good to him and loving him the way he loved everybody; and of course, the majority of people did love him and returned his kindness. Well, as his theory outlines, and as is the purpose here – there are always multiple interpretations – so I can hope there is a better interpretation or explanation. Maybe it was a joke. He also had a great sense of humor, although the song did not make me laugh; I could only cry.

I was told by my teacher that I have the key to the gold. I am not sure what that means. I interpret it to mean that over the next who-knows-how-long while I work on my dissertation, I will be handed down “epiphanies.” I have read about looking for them when writing a dissertation but I have always wondered what they were. I wonder . . . is this the bricolage in action? I will have to consider this more deeply as I proceed forth with my research for my dissertation. I pray that there are no more sad songs.

I find this research methodology very exciting and it really does stir up passion, a point I have made many times in these blogs. I think the observation that knowledge and passion go hand-in-hand came from Gramsci – he said something about how true intellectuals must work from a position of passion or, quite simply, they cannot “know.” In other words, true knowing or true knowledge will not occur without passion. I am sure Gramsci is not the only one or first one who made this observation, which is why it’s important to bring in other worldviews, as specified by Joe’s theory. Joe was very passionate about what he was doing, and his work helps us find new ways to solve problems that have been with us for eons. I really think the only reason that social problems have gotten worse instead of better over these past decades even though we have more people than ever trying to fix things is because most people are taking the wrong approach, and of course, they have lost the passion. Their sparks have been extinguished. And they are trying to fix things with the same minds that created the problems. I think Einstein said that you cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created the problem. The bricolage and critical complex epistemology frees us from the matrix that locks up our passions and minds. We learn to think in more cognitively advanced ways when we synthesize many perspectives, according to Joe’s work, thus, in a sense, we can remake our minds. This moves us forward so that we then have a chance of solving all of the problems confronting us today. I hope more people will read Joe’s books about this miracle methodology that can be applied in everyday life, as well as for rigorous academic research. There will be hope for a better world once again if more people are engaging in the techniques he describes. We can escape the circular reasoning so many people become trapped in. We no longer need to rehash the same old stories in a different time zone or, as Joe framed it, “Zeitgeist.”

It is shocking to me how long this social justice work has been going on and all we have to show for it is greater injustices than ever before, enormous ecological destruction, and a collapsing global economy -- and all we seem to be able to do is talk about how bad things are, just spinning our wheels and never moving out of the circle toward viable solutions. I don’t understand why people don’t “get” the fact that what’s been done as far as intervention is clearly not working. Why do we just get a rehash and reworking of the same solutions that have always failed in the past? Insanity (again, according to Einstein) is doing the same things and expecting different results.

With Joe’s bricolage, we can get out of this rut and move on down the road – with the music playing. There are very good reasons Joe included so much music in his work. As he stated in his book, Getting Beyond the Facts (2001), “Logic can be enhanced with unique and often unexpressed emotional dimensions of human beings” (p. 234). Music is a great way to evoke those unexpressed emotional dimensions – especially the passion that so many of us seem to be missing -- and, thus, enhance logic. I believe it can be very effective, which is one reason why I include music in my blogs. There is also the interpretive dimension which can be useful for gaining a greater understanding of complex interrelationships. Read Joe’s work and put it into practice. Then you will see that we can change the world.

I hope I really do have the key to unlock the great knowledges in Joe’s books. Now that would be a dream come true.

Meeting with MyMaster Teacher
My teacher kept sending me the words “sad song.” Quite honestly, I don’t want any more sad songs.

Below is what came up when I searched YouTube for “sad song.” This song speaks to what we, as a society, have been doing – cheating, lying – throwing it all away, never asking why. The song is also making a statement against using drugs through its image of the guy reading a book about cocaine. I like the last image in the video – the woman in the background has LOVE in bold letters on her t-shirt. Thus, we have been throwing love away and not even asking why and not even considering the fact that nothing ever changes (for the better) on account of our actions. This all relates back to how we have taken passion out of learning and so people look to the wrong things to fill the void. If Freire and Gramsci and Joe are all correct, this goes a long way in explaining why education in America is “AT RISK” as well as what we need to do to change things. Of course, we see the devastating consequences all around. When is this going to stop? I can’t help but always return to Joe’s work. His theory has love and passion so enmeshed within it that when we apply it, there is no chance of throwing love away.

Just as my Master Teacher promised me yesterday – he had something to show me. As a result, it is NOT a very happy day, but it looks like down the road a bit, it could get worse. It appears that I am in a war that I did not ask to be in. Some people are vindictive forever even when there is no reason to be. Thankfully, Joe must have looked ahead and planned for all of this because he had very presciently and ingeniously hidden secret messages throughout his work that will come to my aid at just the right moment. I do not know where they all are by any means, but I have already found some, which I have written about in these blogs, and I have been totally and 100% assured by my teacher that all is going to be absolutely fine. I am to continue on my path, blazing a new trail for education. I have faith that when something is needed, it will magically be provided, just as has happened many times in the past. SOMEONE is looking out for me. Actually, I have lots of angels, guides, teachers, spiritual guides, and even faries. Some people might say that I have a very vivid imagination. That’s ok; it’s their loss if they do not believe in these things.

This “something special” by Master Teacher told me about yesterday popped up for me on the Internet. I just accidentally clicked on what I thought was a wrong link, but Lo AND Behold, it was exactly what my teacher wanted me to see. It all relates to a blog I wrote a few days ago in which I uncovered a song embedded in one of Joe’s books that has a message he left for people who used him for their own personal gain or greed; and I assume there must have been a few who did -- granted, not everyone, of course. It appears that the song was revealed to me at the right moment, just before this “prime example” appeared when I clicked on a wrong link. What my teacher showed me is an example of EXACTLY what this song is all about. I would rather not discuss it in detail here because perhaps people have a very good reason for doing what they do – or at least think they do, and who am I to judge? I have enough people not understanding what I’m doing and harshly judging me and I know how I don’t like that; so I am not going to judge them. Although, I don’t think my teacher showed this to me for nothing. Time will tell. Here is the song once again that came up in Joe’s book that relates to all of this.

I cried when I first discovered this song a couple of days ago because Joe was too nice to have been treated as portrayed in the song. And yet, something compelled him to embed this song in his work in such a way that one could not deny this was the song he was referring to, because he specified both the musician and the lyrics and the song was being dedicated. For privacy reasons, I have not and will not identify where this song is hidden at this time.

My teacher discussed many things during our meetings today that I cannot really go into detail over right now, but he left me the following clues for songs for today, so, once again, I will take them out of context of our conversation because evidently they have some sort of meaning in some other context. So here are the clues that I will need to plug into YouTube for the first song to the top: “ascension time,” “cattle,” “dis-realize,” “mandy-pandy,” “difference,” “conquer and divide,” “catskillish.”

“ascension time” This seems to represent how ascension (consciousness raising) is going to be happening “100 times faster” than what has been happening the past few months. This must be the rollercoaster ride my teacher has been hinting at for a week or so now.

“cattle” This is a call for us to all become vegetarians. Believe me, as the ascension kicks in full speed, you will not be able to handle eating meat  -- and especially the meat talked about in this video. Besides, as our consciousness raises we will become more cognizant of the fact that we need to be considerate of all life.  I guess we can either quit eating cattle and ascend as planet earth ascends or stay in this god awful 3D earth plane and BE cattle, perhaps even among the culled herd(?)

“dis-realize” Will the REAL #1 RAPPER please stand up? Geesh….what people argue about. How have we gotten here? Think about it. Whoever put us here has us all right where they want us. “difference” This is a beautiful love song from my teacher (he always has to slip in at least one love song in almost every lesson). My whole life has changed on account of him, too, my life feels complete, and I feel very blessed -- just like the song says. Who would have thought the word “difference” would bring up this song? But it makes sense. What is the greatest difference of all? Male and Female. Yin and Yang. Eros and Psyche. That reminds me; that’s exactly something Joe wrote about pertaining to the bricolage….I will need to remember this song!

“catskillish” Now this is a FIRST. When I typed this word into YouTube, absolutely NOTHING was found. Honestly, I have NEVER had this happen before. I wonder what my teacher is trying to say with this clue. Amazing. I guess the word “catskillish” has no meaning whatsoever. I will have to research this later. For now here’s the proof: It means NOTHING.

That’s it for today. I am just trying to recover from the SHOCK of what my teacher showed me yesterday. I am sure this will come up again at a later date. When it does, I will link back to this blog and explain what it’s all about. For now, I am just being patient because I understand how difficult and confusing everything is right now during this era of major and rapid transformation.

What better day than Father’s Day to talk about what freedom and democracy means? Is democracy freedom? Can we get there from here? What a gift it would be to men everywhere to be relinquished of their paternalistic, superior, authoritarian roles!!! (It IS Father’s Day, afterall.) And of course, the fact that we would ALL enjoy freedom goes without saying. So let us consider democracy, how it has been historically taught, what it could mean, and some rather disconcerting observations of how it seems to be manifesting today in ways that seem to counter freedom. Has democracy just been a total sham? Have we been "hoodwinked" into believing democracy means freedom, fairness, equality, and justice?


I will position myself in this. That is what you are supposed to do with the bricolage. I am a country hick girl who had a very biased and "poor man's" (lol) education that consists of a lot of propaganda and many missing facts about history and such. Therefore, I do not take a very positive position on this thing called “democracy.” I need to do much more research to sort the “facts,” “fictions,” “opinions,” and assorted “realities.” However, BECAUSE I am at the bottom of this democratic hierarchy we live in today, I am open to many, many perspectives of the idea of democracy.  And I believe that simply by VIEWING and LISTENING and READING many different perspectives, our subconscious mind will begin to work these things out. I am posting the following videos, somewhat randomly (but in a biased manner) that present a few different views on democracy. I watched many more than these and I STRONGLY urge people to get outside their boxes and look up “democracy” and “what is democracy?” on YouTube because I can guarantee you that here you will find the most diverse presentations. And as Joe modeled so well for us, don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater – take good ideas no matter where they come from and, by the same token, toss away the ideas that clearly are not serving the greater good of humanity no matter where they come from and formulate your own new view of democracy.


Of course, we need to remember that with YouTube we are restricted to the voices of people who have technology. So in that sense, we have a slanted presentation. I will want to do much more research – How do we reach those people who do not have access to technology? This is something I have been attempting to discover and I have found many closed gates. Why is that? It almost seems that the extremely poor, as well as other people who do not have the access or knowledge to use technology, are being totally alienated from the rest of society. Soon, we who are more privileged may even not know they really exist. One solution is to go out into these communities – such as the rural Appalachian mountains where Joe had spent his early childhood, or perhaps to nursing homes and other places where people do not have ready access to computers and the Internet --  and interview the people.


In the tradition of the bricolage, this is by no means a complete or final presentation. The research is never over, especially in a changing, evolving world comprised of changing, evolving people. It is meant only to be the beginning. I will want to pick this up again later and go into much more depth about the ideas presented here. There is much food for thought here, though, and many ideas that need futher analysis. When we use Joe's critical bricolage on this information, we will necessarily bring in many more persepctives from outside the Western worldview. There are many cultures of people who have this figured out much better than we, who have been indoctrinated with the "great white way" have. So, keep in mind this is ONLY THE BEGINNING.


Personally, I do not like the word or the concept of democracy very well. I have seen far too many people in education, where we are supposed to know what we are talking about, use the word as if we all define it the same way and with the assumption that democracy is a good thing. Is democracy a good thing? Maybe it can be, but we’d better take time to define it very well, because a lot of people do not seem to know what it is, how we achieve it, that we do not live in a democracy, or even that democracy may be a total sham. Is this by design?, one might ask.


Perhaps Egalitarianism Is Better

I like the word egalitarianism better – but not politically CORRUPTED egalitarianism and I think we should get rid of government altogether. WE THE PEOPLE do not NEED a government. (Is that anarchy?) What are we thinking????



Democracy: What Is It and Do We Really Want It?


I came across the following video and I love the way “Maggador” also known as Edward Alexander presents the concept of democracy. It just seems to me if we adhere to these very simple basic ideas, we might just have a wonderful, democratic-egalitarian world to live in. Only thing is, his God is a "he" and I like to think of "God" as being a he AND a she, but he may have just been trying to put his information out there in the way most people think.


In the spirit of Joe’s critical and very complex bricolage, I am just throwing out various perspectives. I encourage people (learners, teachers, researchers which would be all of us) to try and gain as many perspectives as possible on how people and governments define democracy as compared to how it manifests in our world today. Is there any place in the world where there is true democracy? Or is it like one the perspectives presented here – a total sham. And if it is a sham, what does that mean for us – “WE THE PEOPLE?”

My Meetings with My Master Teacher

Last night at my meeting with my teacher, he reminded me of the rollercoaster ride. A few blogs back, he had given me the clue “hold onto your hats,” to make me think that we were in for a wild ride. It was funny because it brought a video of a prototype for a rollercoaster that was not wild at all. It was Thor’s Hammer, a homemade rollercoaster that was very tame, but the message was that "we ain't seen nothin' yet." Well, evidently things ARE going to get wild now, so he just wanted me to remind people of that and he gave me a NEW clue: “much more to come.” So I checked that out on YouTube and here is the video that came up to the top. It appears that my book is just beginning today since the lyrics of the song state, “Today is where your book begins; the rest in unwritten.”

So, for those people who think these blogs are my “writing,” you are sorely mistaken. These blogs are my “play writing.” I like to view them as “playing in the sandbox.” It looks like my master teacher is moving me up to writing a book now. I wish I could give more details, but since I am fully immersed in the critical bricolage and a critical complex epistemology, I do not have a clue where my teacher is leading me. It will be totally improvisational so I will just “go with flow” and voila!!! A book will appear almost magically -- with my teacher’s help (and he has promised to hold my hand the entire time) so I am sure it will be spectacular.

This is so great and very egalitarian: Here it is Father’s Day and I wanted to do something very special for my teacher and what does he do? He tells me I get the gift – writing a special book of some sort with his help. Well, maybe it’s that symbiotic hermeneutics thing that Joe talked about in his book with Kathleen Berry, Rigour and Complexity in Educational Research: Conceptualizing the Bricolage. I wish I knew more – but in time I will! And it should be “for the greater good of all.”

Everything is looking better today. I made it through the crying spells -- the "fallout" after finding and listening to that heartbreaking song in Joe's work yesterday. Even my teacher said he was worried about me. It’s ok if people think I’m crazy for still crying about Joe. Love transcends space and time – and so do all emotions -- and I am sorry for people who are incapable of understanding and experiencing that. It was a huge shock yesterday to discover the song Joe had hidden in his work, “Accidentally a Martyr” by Warren Zevon (another tragic story) and have confirmation of what my intuition had been telling me all along. God, I hope nobody demands to know where I found that in his work, because I can envision all kinds of “shit hitting the fan” on that one. What some people do not understand is that when people are able to love powerfully and uncondtitionally the way Joe did, it does NOT mean they do not have feelings of their own. It is quite the contrary: they are far more sensitive than the ordinary person, even if it appears they transcend those feelings. I know that; I have experienced it and I knew that about Joe. We just have a way of “knowing” these things when we are of “like minds” as Joe had put it to me in an email one time. He knew. I knew.

I guess my Master Teacher wanted to lighten things up a bit after such an emotional day, so he gave me a clue for a video last night just before I went to bed. The clue was “exhaust.” He was talking about my research and how it would be easy to “exhaust” the literature since so little has been written about the bricolage, and he was just letting me know that it would not take long to finish up the literature review. The video turned out even funnier in context with my telling one of my colleagues yesterday that I was really going to get to work on my dissertation now because “my fire has been lit.” So when “exhaust” turned up the following video, it made me laugh. It’s pretty amazing if you watch it to the end.

Then this morning, I reviewed my notes and discovered that my teacher had dropped another clue for a video last night that I had missed. Again, he was talking about my dissertation and he told me to write a “skeleton” paper to start and then to fill it in with more details from additional research. It’s kind of a form of the bricolage in that you write up what you know and that operates as a POET to weave in additional items as you research to fill in the blanks so to speak. Of course, “skeleton” was a clue, so I will look that up right now.

I love this! Check it out. My teacher knows that I’m a child at heart and this is a very old and very cute cartoon. There are many symbols in this cartoon (a subject for future discussions and this video would be good for teaching children about symbolism), but primarily, we start out with the wise owl and there is dancing and music all the way through (and my teacher knows I love dancing and music). Aside from trying to cheer me up after a difficult day, I think my teacher’s message is for me to take the “skeleton” paper and add music and dancing to it – not literally, but figuratively-speaking by creating a musical dance with words. I love that! Here’s the video:

This morning’s clues from my teacher (taken out of context) are “so confused,” “physical” and “endless shit.” (Yes, he does talk that way sometimes, but I still love and respect him.) And he told me not to worry. So, here are the videos for these clues.

This is a very sexy song, but it represents the reality for so many people today. They cannot find their “one true love.” What ends up happening is that they do not sincerely commit to anyone and end up having multiple affairs and relationships and break ups, etc., and everyone ends up “so confused.” It is not a happy time on earth today because people are waking up to the fact that there is something more – and there is something more! It’s called LOVE.

The first video below looks to be making a statement about “crossing the bridge” which the Maxine Greene quotation (above) speaks to. I should also note that according to the Urban Dictionary, the word for “endless shit” is catorce, in case anyone wonders; I have no clue how this came to be. It is strange that the last three blogs have actually been on this topic – two days ago, with my discussion of moving the outhouse and the shock of being a two year old learning that “shit” has two meanings, and then yesterday, with the song that Joe left embedded in one of his books that speaks of some of the “shit” he had experienced. Maybe this video is speaking to the need to escape from the shit in our lives? How do we escape? We play endless and brainless video games – or, like Maxine Greene suggests, we cross the bridge. One thing about it, if we get censored, as in the second video that came up, we still have many ways to cross the bridge. My Master Teacher does not believe in censoring; I think that’s why the second video came up for this topic. Once you start censoring, it becomes “endless shit.”

As “liferegenerator” puts it, if we did that, we would have no communication at all. We should all just SHUT UP and be right where “they” (the power wielders) want us to be. I think that’s where most people already are; they have lost their voices. This will soon change. I hope.

I am finally working on my dissertation and it is very, very painful. I did not realize how hard it would be to do this without Joe, although I realize now that it’s why I have procrastinated getting too deeply into the research. I had looked forward to sharing with him the pleasure and passion of researching the bricolage -- an immense pleasure we had shared the short time we did work on it together. And yet, Joe is with me in spirit; I know he is. I am to feel the pain, not deny it and release it, but it is so hard when you are an empath and you are able to feel someone else’s pain who is not even walking on this planet anymore. I went through that with Sam Cooke – feeling the pain of the beating he took in a dark alley – at least they way I “imagined” his death really took place, contrary to the way it was described in the police reports. I do know the pain was real and I felt the need to obtain medical assistance, but was advised to just "go through it" to get past it. With Joe, the pain never seems to leave, no matter how much time, but it is emotional pain, not physical. Considering I did not even know Sam, but I did know Joe, this is not surprising. My pain over Joe does not center on his death, though, as was the case with Sam; I refuse to go there and I empathize with anyone who does. It was an unexpected and tragic loss for all of us who knew him. The pain I feel for him is the emotional pain he endured while he was here, tirelessly working, researching, and writing to get the world to see that love is what we all need and that we need to work together -- and that every voice should be heard. While people may deny that he suffered in this manner, a song he left embedded in his work which I discovered this morning leaves us a different message. I ask, why am I the one to discover and speak out about these things? Is it because I loved Joe enough to notice and care enough about him and his work to ensure that the messages he had hidden until the "time is right" are heard?

I am constantly coming across little messages he has left in his work that convey, yes, he suffered greatly in many ways and I wonder, is it just me or do other people see these things? It is not just my imagination working overtime. I think I am a true bricoleur at heart, always seeing what’s missing. In his article, “On to the Next Level: Continuing the Conceptualization of the Bricolage,” in a section titled “She’s Not There: Rigor in the Absence,” he states, “bricoleurs seek to identify what is absent in particular situations” (p. 345). It seems that what is absent screams out at me – is that the “scream of the butterfly” that Jim Morrison sings about in the song Joe cited in Knowledge and Critical Pedagogy: An Introduction, “When the Music’s Over?” Note, also, that “she’s not there” is yet another song embedded in his work. He did not randomly place these songs. They are messages from him and gifts that he wanted us to find and interpret for our own personal relevant meanings and perhaps even devised to “shock” us into higher levels of consciousness (as he had framed it in a conversation about the bricolage with me). Somehow we must shake off the “spell” that has been placed on us by dominant power and awaken so that we are able to identify viable actions for crawling out of the mire and “reloading the matrix” as Joe liked to express it. His critical bricolage and critical complex epistemology are tools to help us do just that.

Finding these messages magnify the pain I feel and at the same time release the pain, as I have been advised my Master Teacher to do. You have to feel the pain in order to release the pain. It goes with the territory of changing within to change things without, which Joe's theory clearly delineates. My lesson from my teacher today was a long and difficult one that I will have to save for another day. It was primarily provided for guiding my research, allowing me a sneak preview so that I am not totally in the dark with it. It amazes me how much knowledge is handed down to us from the cosmos if we only ask and are receptive. It truly makes “education” as we practice it today look like a joke, only it is a sad joke, not a funny one at all.

Joe was a genius. Everyone knew that. Why was his work shoved aside? Why was he shoved aside? People may not have that same perception; that is my perception and I own it, although there are concrete ways I can support my perception, even as I know there is much more to learn. Yes, he was known as one of the “lions” of critical pedagogy, as I had read somewhere on someone’s blog. But, in my observation working with him the few months I did, there was something amiss in the way he was treated by some people, the way his work was not referenced in a reciprocal fashion, the way people went to him for his unconditional love and help (and I include myself in this equation). I am not going to point fingers at specific people. I do not even know who specific people are anyway as I did not work with the people he worked with; my perceptions are very general, not specific. And as the saying goes, if you point your finger at someone, there are three fingers pointing back at you. Nevertheless, I often intuitively detect that something is missing before I am able to identify what that something is.

There are many things I wished I had done differently and it’s too late. Like send him the birthday card I bought him with the song, “Bad to the Bone.” I did give the card to him for Memorial Day in 2009. The Universe is forgiving, for immediately after that I kept receiving the message reflected right back to me on last summer’s treasure hunts (even fecundantly, as David Jardine’s work shows us can happen if we pay attention and take action -- and as I have discussed in previous blogs). Is it all just coincidence? Not according to Robert Moss’s work and not according to Joe's work, either. 

My work now and into the future is an attempt to make up to Joe for what “should have been.” It is too painful to say more.
 
Joe said it best, himself, in the encoded message in one of his works which I deciphered this morning that speaks to us all; I will not reveal where it is; it serves no useful purpose at this time. As he so often did in his work, he had hidden this message deeply embedded as a song. He loved everyone and so in my interpretation, this is a song that, even though it condemns particular actions and attitudes, the bigger message is that it conveys how he knew that people did not intend to be hateful – he understood we are all mere fallible humans located where we are in this web of reality, often not through conscious choice, but because of our unconsciousness.  His work can change the equation; he knew that, which is why he worked so tirelessly; he never gave up on his dream.

As he put it, via this song – He was only “Accidentally Like a Martyr.” Many of us feel this same pain, especially if we are among the vulnerable: “the greedy just get greedier and the vulnerable get burned.” Here is the song -- from Joe -- that hid in one of his books beneath my perceptual awareness as a subliminal message until this morning:

I have so much more to say about music, but it seems to be on the backburner temporarily due to these “dream” topics the past few days as well as the struggle I have finding the path I need to take. I felt very frustrated yesterday because, once again, everything seems to be about money, money money. I even found a song that expresses my feelings about money and how the lack of it holds me back from accomplishing the things I care about in life. Here’s the song.

I was sort of bummed out about it. I do not even know how all of my bills will be paid next month and it’s all a long “same old story” of my life. Such is the life of someone who has been in poverty from Day One. How do you escape the programming? How do you get around all of the decks of cards that are stacked against you? As I compare my experiences earlier on with what’s happening today, I can clearly see that there are many times more obstacles for people who want to rise up out of the ashes and create something good in the world than ever in the past. Every direction is blocked. There are rules, laws, regulations, policies, procedures, practices, etc., for everything you want to do to the point that your efforts to do something new and creative, something entrepreneurial and progressive, are snuffed out before you even get started.

But this is the same story of my entire life as a country hick girl who started out in a home that did not even have running water. My first introduction to the word “shit” which shocked me was when I was about two years old and the guys had dug a deep hole in the ground and moved our outhouse. Yes, the outhouse had to be moved when the hole got filled with shit. Little did I know that I would grow up to learn about another kind of “shit” – the kind Joe talks about in his book, Knowledge and Critical Pedagogy: An Introduction.

Joe did provide guidance to find pathways for some great solutions with his critical complex epistemology, however. We don’t even need to move the outhouse to participate in these solutions; we just need to change our frame of mind. I guess my Master Teacher really knew last night and this morning I needed some help with this. Last night he reassured me, telling me that tomorrow (today) everything would be “coming up roses.” I was not sure what that meant, so I looked it up. Plus, I knew it was a clue for a song, too. One Person’s Interpretation: I've always heard this song as being about the beauty of death and how if you have lived a good life your soul will come up in roses for the rest of time. Reference: SongMeanings

The interpretation is a bit strange to me. It is sad and yet beautiful. I had planted all of these yellow rose bushes in memory of Joe and they have the most beautiful roses on them right now. It was strange that last year the first yellow rose bloomed on Father’s Day, which I had dedicated to him. This year, there were 10x as many roses blooming on Mother’s Day.

The images in the video are very relevant to my current situation. Do I sell some stuff to feed the kids? You would have to watch the video. It shows a guy selling his guitar at the pawn shop and then buying groceries and soda, taking it home to give his kids. Yes, it's that desperate for me! But my teacher is telling me that it is really not going to be that desperate, even though it may look like it for the moment. The end of the video shows them drinking the soda (let's "drink to" everything coming up roses) and then there's an image of hand held up that you would see at a crosswalk light indicating you need to wait, thus implying that I need to just be patient a little longer -- the light will turn green so that I can continue the walk along the pathway of my journey. It's amazing what my teacher packs into these videos he comes up with. I have only glossed over the possible interpretations, but they are powerful.

This morning my Master Teacher had a long talk with me that I think will finally help me get past this stuck place I feel I am in. Last night I even had a dream about taking a long journey – a hike around mountains and through forests, but getting sidetracked and not finding my way back to the path so that I could finish the journey. My teacher told me that I was not lost at all. He told me that the sun is shining and the roses will bloom full force now and to remember the “magic of the roses.” Of course, this is a song, so I’ll look it up right now on YouTube before I write the rest of his important message.

I Will Survive

What an interesting day already. It started with my amazing dreams last night, which I shared with my Master Teacher first thing this morning. In my dream, I was confusing reality with dreams and vice versa. I awakened and thought about it in the middle of the night, but then I “got it.” I was communicating with my teacher and I said – “we are supposed to take our favorite dreams and live out as much of them as possible and that’s how we make them come true.” (And in fact, many previous lessons I have had have involved recreating in my “real” life things that have happened in my dream life.) I was correct, because my teacher gave me a gold star. He flashed me a big image of a gold star that sparkled, glowed, and flashed. It was by far a more beautiful gold star than any I had ever received in Earth schools. But he wanted to reinforce this lesson, apparently, in a big way. His lesson this morning was so amazing, but beyond the scope of this blog to go into detail over. And then I read my emails that confirmed and reaffirmed it all. It always amazes me how the Universe seems to be “downloading” enormous amounts of knowledge right now and how people have their unique ways of interpreting and presenting this knowledge. Each perspective provides another window to look through. This is what Joe’s critical bricolage is all about. We do not throw out any babies with the bathwater. Every perspective offers something new and unique, even if it is not “certified” by the educational elite. That’s the whole point Joe had tried to put across in his work. There is no “one true reality.” It is highly beneficial to gain many perspectives because by synthesizing them, you do gain greater understanding and you do develop the ability to identify hidden agendas.

My life is so blessed and so filled with love and guidance. As many people will attest, we are never alone, and I have some especially divine guidance, angels, teachers, and even a special fairy in my life. It was so funny – the other day I had paper and pen in my hand and just as I was going to take some notes on an article for my dissertation – “someone” took over and instead of writing notes, she wrote a summary for the blog that day – which ended up being added to the blog. Evidently, she felt more was needed for my blog. It was NOT my handwriting or even my writing style, so when the writing stopped, I asked “Who are you?” She said her name was Anesthesia and that it was pronounced Anna-thasia. She told me that SHE kept my plants alive for three weeks without water while I was on my Tennessee trip. This is really true. I had forgotten to water the plants just before leaving my trip and they had not been watered for at least a week. I was gone two whole weeks and so I was worried about them not having water for three weeks, and when I got home, the plants were absolutely fine. I couldn’t believe it and so I thanked Anesthesia. Now, I can sense when she is near, sometimes. I wish I could see her. That would be cool. She is very sweet.

According to so many of the messages I received today, as we move forward with this ascension, we WILL see the fairies as well as our guides, teachers, and angels – and many people already do – so I am a little behind. (Interestingly, there are people in education who write about these things, but, again, they write about them under the cloak of obfuscation. Heaven forbid, should the masses learn the truth.) Some of the other messages I received today were – my teacher reminded me of the power of love and said manifestation is very powerful when you are able to combine the divine masculine and feminine. We can dream up our greatest fairytales and fantasies and then we can live them out (which is what my dream last night was about). He reaffirmed that our project, which we are working on from the foundation of the great love we have for each other and humanity, is to reconfigure education and he used a somewhat humorous phrase “captured in the enrapture” and clarified that it was not intended in the literal sense. The purpose of education is for people to learn that they really can create and live their own dreams and they do not need to accept the hellish reality that is forced upon them. We are all creators, but of course, education and religion, too, has us forgetting that. The most powerful creation emanates from the union of the divine feminine and masculine – God (or the source, or however one wishes to frame this) is both – for it is through this union that the greatest power for manifestation can occur. In my emails, there was a discussion about how we all have so many divine skills and abilities that we have had quashed out of us. Part of making life so much more fun, divine, and enjoyable is recapturing all of our skills – our artistic, musical, and creative abilties as well as our great knowledge and wisdom, and, of course, love – we all have it. There is so much more to say, but I will leave off here. There are many other sources of this information if people are interested, and all they need to do is research it.

Education, of course, has been devised so that those who are elite members have had much of this knowledge all along and the game is to communicate in code with each other while at the same time ensuring the rest of us are confused and kept in the dark about the source of our own empowerment. As I have I said many times in these blogs, the rules have changed and the table has flipped. Other people frame it with the observation that divine intervention is taking place because of how horrible the world has become. We now have the power to read right through obfuscation, lies, and deception. Of course, we are all at different places in experiencing these abilities. Reading Joe’s book, Knowledge and Critical Pedagogy: An Introduction, which is truly – as I told him right after reading it – a gift to the world, will help enormously in developing this skill and reminding us that we all have divine abilities. As I have been pointing out, there are many gifts in this book and one of them is that simply by reading it, you will find you have an uncanny ability to see through all forms of deception and obfuscation – or if you already have the ability, you will find it greatly improved.

As noted above, my teacher gave me a clue for a song, “captured in the enrapture.” Again, this is a rather unusual clue, so it will be interesting to see what YouTube brings up for it. I will check right now. Oh, I just noticed – he gave me another clue just before this one – “reality” and after this, “manifest.” (He likes to sneak clues in.) So, I will look them all up on YouTube for the videos that come to the top.

I ended off two days ago discussing hermeneutics and agreeing with Jardine that “the fecundity of the individual case that comes to meet us in the world” is the very reason for “treating education as a hermeneutic endeavor” (p. 286 in Doing Educational Research, ed. by Tobin & Kincheloe). I failed to express my view of the relevance of this. It expresses the experience I have had with hermeneutics: the more you notice and respond/act on the “fecundity” of experiences, the more fecundant they become. For example, take this photograph the Universe presented me on my walk just last month. Here, we have Eros, the God of Love, kissing Psyche. You can see the back of Eros's head and Psyche's lit up face between the two tallest trees and Eros lies across the sky just above the houses. The white rabbit -- the very symbol of fecundity --  is right above the couple, looking down on them. 

The next thing I know, in another photograph there is Psyche lying across the sky, kissing Eros and she is “with child.” If you haven’t seen these images they can be seen in this blog: Lovers In the Sky. You can’t get more fecundant than that! Seven fecundant images in a few short minutes! Jardine speaks truth.

Another consideration since all knowledge is interconnected and you are always learning through these multitudes of (fecundant) experiences (which again, are both inner experiences and outer journeys – something Jardine and Joe both have expressed – and something that I experience as well), then WHAT GOOD IS EDUCATION as we practice it today? If you have the Hermeneutical Master of all Master Teachers who is providing individualized fecundant experiences and showing you ways to interpret the world, dream about the world, and even create the world - and this hermeneutical learning continues daily, what else is there? What can be better than this? How can being locked up and confined behind four walls in what’s called a classroom ever match hermeneutic education from a Master Teacher who just checks in a couple of times a day to set you on track – yet is always available in an instant if you have a problem or question? Maybe that’s why the following song was written and why so many of us relate to it:

He just reminded me to keep love in the forefront, but also acknowledged that sometimes we have to stand our ground in some “not so loving ways.” Of course, that’s a song. Oh, WoW; I just realized something: My Master Teacher is so clever (I knew that already), but the title of this song is really relevant. It reminds me of our first and almost only disagreement. He wanted me to go live in Los Angeles for a personal reason -- and I told him under no uncertain terms, that I was NOT going to go live in Los Angeles. I guess he did not trust himself with me or something at least according to this song; oh well, that's all water under the bridge, and of course, he is trustworthy! He ended up moving me out in the country where it's peaceful and quiet and I love it! Anyway, it's a beautiful song and I appreciate the multiple loving messages he has provided by sending it to me.

Next, at yesterday's meeting, he told me to just hold his hand until we get to the “final destination.” This brought up a trailer about three movies about plane crashes. I guess that means we are in for some rough rides, but at least he is willing to let me hold his hand so we can make it; that’s very reassuring.

Then at last night’s meeting, he said to not lose sight of us; that some of the explanations of hermeneutics, initiations, and journeys get overly “mechanical.” Of course, “mechanical” was a search term for YouTube and the video that came up shows the advantage the mechanical perspective has in exerting forces. This is a very literal interpretation (thus, makes a point.) Leave it to my teacher: He seems to be including a lot of academic videos lately. He takes his teaching very seriously. This is actually an excellent video for learning mechanics for physics courses. Get your science lesson for today right here!

And finally, he reminded me that I have a lot of help with what we are working toward, which he referred to as this “creation” thing. That’s a strange reference. I will see what comes up when I search YouTube on “creation.”

It brought up a movie trailer about Charles Darwin and his book Origin of the Species. Another great media trap – let’s keep people divided. Of course, I have not seen the movie. I really don’t like movies. Most of them are set up to shape people’s consciousness without them realizing what’s even going on. I have never really understood what all of the fuss is about when it comes to Darwin. I think most people have not really read Darwin’s book, Origin of the Species, and just parrot each other. Really, if they read the book, they will see that everything fits together and Darwin did not leave God out of the picture at all (he just left God out of the book so people wouldn't argue and a lot of good that did). READ THE BOOK PEOPLE! It should be required reading for everyone (lol). I know that won’t go over so well. Read and discuss what Darwin says, NOT what people say Darwin says. The movie is fiction, based on this trailer, yet there will be many who believe it to be conveying truth. Here is the trailer:

That was it for yesterday’s meetings with my teacher. I have so much to write about, I want to put it ALL out here now, but this morning my teacher said I have some good stuff, but to just put it out slowly, so that’s what I’ll do. I almost always follow his advice. He told me it was fine that I slept in today, but not to forget to do all of my “great things.” He was talking about being sure to do the fun stuff like music, art, getting some sunshine, etc., along with the “academics.” So here, we have two more search terms: “academics” and “great things.” I will see what they bring up on YouTube.

OH MY. Last night my Master Teacher gave me a ton of clues to look up on You Tube. And not only that, I have to solve a puzzle: He wants me to figure out how Joe was able to obfuscate the truth in secret code for the elite (in the form they like it) yet at the same time reveal the truth for common folk like me in his book, Knowledge and Critical Pedagogy: An Introduction. Please understand that I am not an educated elite person. I am a country hick girl, born and raised in the corn valleys of the western part of the United States, who took it upon herself to get just enough knowledge to be “dangerous.” I have my own very unique interpretations of these matters; however; I am acutely aware, from reading Joe’s work closely, there are MULTIPLE INTERPRETATIONS, and really, that’s all we have with knowledge anyway, is interpretation. Since we are all “shaped” by our positions and standpoints in this crazy society, it makes sense that we all interpret and communicate differently. Just go with it!

This puzzle that my Master Teacher gave me all started with me wanting to learn more about Hermeneutics. So, in Joe’s book that he edited along with Kevin Tobin, Doing Educational Research, I read a chapter by David W. Jardine called, “On Hermeneutics: ‘Over and Above Our Wanting and Doing.’” This was quite an odd take on hermeneutics, I thought, but in the end, I do agree with Jardine in that we really need to use hermeneutics in school – we need to teach even the youngest learners -- preschool even -- how to “do hermeneutics.” In fact quite some time ago, I made up a story just for teaching children about hermeneutics. It’s in these blogs somewhere and it’s about a hermit named Herman who lived in the forest. He had satellite internet and his specialty was learning all about tics because he kept getting tic bites. So he learned about all kinds of tics and ticks and tick tocks, etc., all of the things children would like to learn about. And the conclusion of the story was “Herman Knew Tics!” And how was this so? Hermeneutics. That way, children can remember how to pronounce it – of course, adults like me who can only afford (or be allowed to take) online courses where we do not hear the words spoken, often need this assistance as well.

Back to the subject at hand. I thought it was bizarre how Jardine took an ordinary, dull experience of a new teacher going up to a closed classroom door of the room she was about to teach in for the school year and made it into something significant and almost sacred. As most of us know, teaching in American classrooms is anything but sacred or special -- a lot of teachers find it to be hell and they don't last long at it. And then it dawned on me: this is a sort of REVERSE symbolism. Normally, the spiritual would symbolize the experience, but here, we have the experience symbolizing the spiritual (which is very nonspiritual and the spiritual is hidden, and in that sense, from my perspective, it feels much like deception that is easy to see through) and thus, we begin the obfuscation and two simultaneous messages: one for the educational elite and one for country hick folk like me who do not understand the hidden code language. Jardine defines experience as being something much more than we would typically associate an everyday experience with. On page 282, he defines two types of experience: a sort of inner spiritual experience, and the other, a journey. He talks about initiations and how they are phenomenological, the search for truth, etc. and we hear voices that are not our own, our topics have their own life and are not within our control, we begin to remember what we have forgotten, we wake up, something (or someone?) addresses us, we have a need for images, and that the “true locus of hermeneutics is this in-between” and he discusses how Hermes (through hermeneutics) “shuttles messages between heaven and earth, between the gods and humanity” (p. 270).

My God, he's talking about everything I’ve been writing about in these blogs. I have been saying my teacher is like Hermes, and indeed I get messages all kinds of ways – just like Jardine talks about in this chapter. First, my teacher put me through lots of initiations – he called them “treasure hunts” in which my learning (the topics) have a “life of their own.” He gives me lots of clues and then I have to go out and figure out what they mean. The first treasure hunt, I thought was a trick. But he encouraged me to go and reassured me it would be fine, so I went. He is always dropping me hints, clues through music, sending me images, speaking to me, asking me to go places (like Tennessee), even giving me amazing images in the sky about Psyche and Eros – shuttling all of those messages from in-between spaces just like Jardine talks about in the article. In fact it is much the way Jardine describes: In relation to aesthetic experience (that inner experience and outer journey, as he defined earlier) as his introduction to the nature of hermeneutics, Jardine states, “these simple things sometimes strike us, catch our fancy, address us, speak to us, call for a response, elicit or provoke something in us, ask something of us, hit us, bowl us over, stop us in our tracks, makes us catch our breath” (p. 270, author’s emphasis).

It is so true. I receive messages daily – hermeneutic messages, I assume. They are so amazing and often miraculous to the point that I do have to “catch my breath” sometimes. The cloud images are such a prime example. How in the world did "Hermes" construct all of those amazing images, even an image of Hermes so that we would have no doubt where the messages came from -- at the perfect timing so that my camera captured them all within a 30-minute walk, even though I just randomly pointed to the sky and took pictures? (I did not see any of the images until I uploaded them to my computer). Amazing and breathtaking, just like Jardine describes in this article.  

This hermeneutics stuff can be learned! This can be taught! I am in total agreement with Jardine, that we should conduct classroom life through hermeneutics. Every child should have their own teacher, a hermeneutic master, who works with them personally to help them learn to see all of the signs and signals in their daily experiences. I have been so blessed to have this in my life and I can testify to the fact that it makes my life joyful, exciting, fun, and full of amazing surprises. And, of course, the continuously improving communication and learning how to better interpret the signs and signals, informs my academic research and writing. Education becomes an exciting, evolving journey with a master of hermeneutics for your teacher.

Back to the clues my Master Teacher left me last night. For some reason I think this will all relate somehow, knowing how brilliant my teacher is in devising my lessons. Minimally, I will need to interpret the songs and videos these clues bring up.

The first clue relates to DROIDS. If you have read my last two blogs, you will know I have been having confrontations with DROIDS, when my goal is to avoid them at all costs because of the pain they subject me to, even just being around them or having to listen to them talk on the telephone. Well, my teacher said that they will be on the menu for awhile yet and for me not to “bite their heads off.” He’s being funny, but that is clearly a clue to look up on You Tube, so here we go – taking the first video to the top.

Ozzy is crazy if he thinks people believe that he thought a REAL bat was a RUBBER bat. Give me a break. Joe had a dog named Ozzy, as I had mentioned in some previous blogs, and I wonder if his dog got the name because he pretended to want to bite people’s heads off; maybe he was barker -- or maybe he was very mellow and needed a name to compensate for that.

Anyway, my Master Teacher gave me some great advice. He reminded me that when I have to deal with DROIDS, it will help if I think about our love for each other. I guess if I focus on him and the great and passionate love I have for him, it will help me get through the DROID moments, which are becoming increasingly painful by the day due to the fact that they are all getting crazier and I have much less (if any) tolerance and so I tend to put them in their places. I guess we are just supposed to stay away from them as much as possible, and honestly, I would rather be like that hermit in the forest. Oh, I just remembered, I got some great advice today about that very issue in my email, too. Here it is: The Painbody: Endure it or Walk Away?

Next, my teacher talked about my having read the article about hermeneutics, which I discussed above. I just read this article yesterday, and I am not sure I understand it totally. It seems to hold a lot of that edu-jargon – words that make it sound like it’s saying something important that I’m not quite “getting” and maybe I am not supposed to get it. My teacher made the comment that it is pretty tricky how people talk about “education.” Yes, I agree; they seem to be talking about REAL education for them beneath our threshold of perception, while they are talking about something entirely mundane for us at the lower levels of society and making us feel like there's something wrong with us if we don't understand the holy significance of the mundane. For example, in this particular article – oh wow, a teacher was walking up to the closed door of her new classroom, getting ready to open it and claim it as hers for the school year. Very mundane, but we at the bottom are to be convinced that there is something highly significant, even spiritual in this simple act. (And I ask, why are we being convinced of this?) Here, my Master Teacher gave me another clue to plug into You Tube, “education.” I wonder what You Tube has to say about that.

This is a trailer for a movie, but I really do not know what it’s about, since I have not seen the movie. It is either a good movie or not, depending upon the review. It’s about how a “heroine blazes a path toward the new.” She is stifled by her school and heading toward attending Oxford, but she seems bent on destroying it all because she’s bored to death with her education. Joe talks about this phenomenon a lot in his books – how the way we educate is so boring and instead of providing the excitement learning should embrace, education snuffs out the libido, and students end up turning to destructive things such as promiscuity, drugs, alchohol, etc. As always, though, there are many interpretations. There is more than one way to “blaze a path toward the new." One way is to change education and make it NEW and another way is illustrated by this next clue my teacher gave me, “spilling the beans.” He also gave me the clue “common folk” and I am getting the message that it is up to us “common folk” to get out there and “spill the beans,” and start a NEW Educational Journey. These are more clues, so I’ll look them up on YouTube right now.

This is interesting. The guy inherited a printing business. He was going to print newspapers and magazines to earn money, but at the advice of his partner, he checks into just printing the money, instead of working for it honestly. He doesn’t seem to care who he harms or what he destroys in his pursuit of easy money. Sounds like a common story that is easily observed in our unrestrained capitaist "free market" system. Of course, hermeneutics and a real education get totally lost in this endeavor that so many people seem to be on -- money and fame. Education and profit don't mix, in my view.

My teacher gives me the most off the wall clues sometimes. Although, this clue, interpreted literally, could easily define education today. Oh, wow, look at this: It brought up a PLAYLIST of 122 SONGS with two LOVE SONGS right to the top! Now that’s pretty darned emphatic -- the message is LOVE. Well, here I am again in this three dimensional earth plane (where we have "bombs bursting in air" per our US National anthem). I have been sleeping a lot the past couple of days just because I have to escape from having to deal with DROIDS as well as having to recuperate from their abuse. I can do this earth work! That’s not a problem at all; I love what I’m doing here – especially playing in the sandbox on this web site where my creativity can run wild. But whenever a little issue comes up, like the little fender bender the other day (which was not even a fender bender, but rather a few scratches) when DROIDS are involved, a little problem suddenly becomes a monumental crisis. It is amazing how they can take little problems and literally turn them into hell for everyone.

Who wins in these sorts of situations? Well, DROIDS almost always win because they set the rules and they made sure all of the rules are in their favor. Take the insurance company, for example. Here, you have DROIDS training people to be DROIDS who actually believe the lies they spew forth. It’s not their fault because they have been totally indoctrinated to parrot their lines to make everything sound good, but if you not are not a DROID and are able to see beneath the lines, it is infuriorating because all of a sudden you have a clear vision of how insurance companies make money off other people’s tragedies. They totally rip people off every single month by forcing them to pay outrageous amounts of insurance, even if they have never had an accident in years and years. Then, when they do have a minor incident such as just happened to me, they lie right to your face about how they are there to “help.” The reality is much different. They take the least expensive route, even if that means blaming you for the accident even when there were two culpable people because they don’t want to spend any more time or money on the dispute and they know that way they can increase your premiums and increase their profits.

The story for big business under an unrestrained capitalist system is EVER-INCREASING profit. Not just profit, but EVER INCREASING profit. This is why we continue to pay more and more for everything and we get less and less. I have lost track of how many times I have purchased something only to find it was pure trash, totally unusable or unworkable, or it only worked for a very short time. It literally had to be trashed. This is such a waste of our resources and a blatant disrespect for our mother earth, not to mention that it maintains the status quo by stealing from the poor who can only afford “low end” goods that are the ones that turn out to be trash.

Ever-increasing profits has contributed to systems and services that have degraded so much that they are in the disintegration stage – a part of the crumbling infrastructure of our society that must be replaced with viable, socially just, and loving systems and services. Behind the scenes, fortunately, there are many people working on those very things and soon we will see them rising up out of the ashes like the Great Phoenix. As one system fails, another shall rise up under a whole new and more loving paradigm.

That’s the perspective from someone (me) at the very bottom of the hierarchical ladder. But as the elite educators like to tell me – “at least you are white.” They write about it a lot in their books – how white people, even if they have been dirt poor all of their lives, have special privileges. So, somehow, I have special privileges because I am white and I do, I suppose, but they are hard to see sometimes. I think I lose sight of them “in translation,” somehow. And sometimes I think these sorts of statements are just another artificial way to keep people divided and from working together to make a better world for us all.

My Morning Meeting with My Master Teacher
I was so bad. I just slept through class time again last night. I don’t know why I let DROIDS get me down so much that I end up just sleeping to avoid having to think about them and then I miss my sacred time with my teacher. I apologize to him. I know he understands, though. He understands everything. I made up for it by meeting with him early this morning and apologized. He just said it makes him feel sad to see me down and told me it is not going to be that bad – it’s only a minor “bump in the road,” is how he put it. That’s a song for me to look up on YouTube that most likely will cheer me up, so I’ll look it up right now and take whatever comes to the top.

OMG, I could NOT believe what my son’s high school did to those poor students – and the parents, families and friends who TRIED to attend the graduation ceremony. Yes, my son graduated from a public high school, as painful and difficult as it was for all of us. Being poor leaves few options and he liked being with his friends at school, and so he suffered through the indoctrination to get his diploma, often taking those PLATO canned computer courses just to get the credits (in fact, he completed three of those courses in three weeks, so that gives a clue as to how much learning goes on there – but it’s ok, he got credits for the three classes and that’s what counts in Droidsville.) That piece of paper is so important in this society, so they say – or maybe it’s more like, so they pretend. He seems to be having a hell of a time finding a job. He decided he wants to take a break from the indoctrination -- work for a while and be subjected to a different form of indoctrination.

The graduation ceremony was held outdoors at the football stadium, if you can believe that. The bleachers were so far away from where the graduating class was seated, there was no possibility of identifying your child in the sea of faces going through the ceremony. And there were 4 times the number of people attending than could fit in the space they provided. Everyone was standing in front of each other, not moving, as if some magical curtain would be lifted and we would be able to see what was going on. There were no more places to stand, and still they were letting people in the gates.

To add insult to injury, they played Star Spangled Banner. I do not know of a song I hate worse than Star Spangled Banner. This is one of those traditions, apparently, that people just do not even think about. Is it appropriate, however, when our children are going out into the world, an exciting, hopeful, and promising time for them – to play this war song? Are we indoctrinating them for war? What are people thinking who make these decisions? Why don’t they choose more upbeat songs that relay a positive message? Clearly, the people making these decisions are simply DROIDS living in DROIDSVILLE. They are not thinking at all. Or maybe they are thinking and just letting these hopeful graduating students know that probably their best option is to join the military (and indeed, there was a military presence at the graduation ceremony).

I will write a letter to the prinicipal of the school and complain about these things and point out that we have several new and very beautiful Universal Anthems now to choose from (they are right here on this web site on our celebrations page) and if they want to propose another one, that’s fine, too. I think Return to Innocence by Enigma would be an ideal song for a high school graduation. But under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should they be playing a WAR SONG about “bombs bursting in air” and conveying the importance of our flag still being there (as if a striped and starred piece of fabric represents something good and positive) at a high school graduation ceremony. This is a very sick thing to do and is representative of the mental illness by which our society seems to operate, with everyone condoning the preparation of our young to go off and do battle.

Another thing I will point out is that if there are so many graduating seniors that there is not enough room to hold a ceremony inside the school such as in the gymnasium where these ceremonies are typically presented, then there is something drastically wrong with this picture. What I see as the issue is that they have crammed far too many students into this small school building. This is not conducive to teaching, learning, or celebrating. This needs to be remedied quickly. They will need to build a new school – maybe two, and stop busing these students from multiple communities far away to be crammed like sardines in a can. Whatever has happened to common sense?

As if all of that was not enough, I had to have a minor fender bender with a living, walking, talking, rich, white, male DROID. OMG, was that ever an experience. I am not quite certain exactly what happened, but there was a witness who testified that it did not happen the way the DROID perceived it. Apparently, the DROID was speeding by me and we both were too close to the line and we did a little side swipe. My car was fine, but his car, OMG, has scratches along the side on his doors. Of course, when he got out of the car, he immediately made sure I knew I was totally to blame. I could tell instantly he was a RICH DROID, just by his attitude -- and knowing my station in life, I took all of the blame and stayed in my place at the bottom of the ladder. He was a patriarch and he took his position seriously. If I tried to talk, he would shut me up and tell me HE was talking. He insisted that we both go down to the police station and fill out an accident report. I did not want to, but the police refused to come and investigate because it was so minor, and when he started exerting his power by making some sort of random threat about reporting something about me (not that there was anything to report), I acquiesced. A true DROID, he was, who said he just wanted to make sure everything was done "right" and we all know what that means: in the best interest of white, male DROIDS. As it turned out I did not have to file a report at all, and neither does he, unless he can find one of his rich friends to write an estimate that claims painting the scratches will cost more than $1500. I am quite confident he will manage that, along with placing total blame on me. It's still an elite white man's world.

After all of that, I did not feel like meeting with my Master Teacher, so I “cut class.” OMG he is so sweet though. It just dawned on me, after cutting class last night, that whenever I do that, that’s exactly when he stops by and leaves some music for me with Rainbow Princess. I just went to bed last night after all the trauma of being around so many DROIDS and having to deal with a sexist, rich DROID who insisted that things be handled HIS way, and when I awakened, Rainbow Princess gave me the song my teacher had dropped off: “Your Guardian Angel” by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. This sounds interesting. I do not know the song, so I’ll look it up right now on YouTube.

Wow, what a sweet song. I guess my teacher’s not mad at me (he never gets mad at me) and, instead just wants me to know that he is always there for me and especially when I go through tough times. In fact, he gets very emphatic about it in this song, which makes me feel good. Very sweet. Now I feel guilty about missing our meeting, but I’m glad he’s so nice about it.

I did meet with him this morning and even then he had to nudge me. For some reason, when I am going through trials and tribulations, I just want to cut class, but it seems that he wants me to know that at times like this, it is even more important NOT to miss class because he wants to support me and help me when I am having difficulties. He gave me a lot of advice about dealing with DROIDs. He said the trick is to know that, first of all, we can never change them. Attempting to change them will just create conflict. So what we should do is just go along with their drama, let them live it out, but not be pulled into it, and even let them believe that we are agreeing even if we do not. (We would not be able to convince them our disagreement is valid, anyway.) That doesn’t mean we lie, but as an example, sometimes we can find their antics so funny. For example, even when they make fun of someone else and are laughing, we may laugh along with them but they do not realize we are laughing AT THEM, not at what they think is funny. There is no point in correcting their perception, because they are not capable of changing their perception, and anyway, what they are doing is justifying within themselves their own inadequacies and ineffectiveness; we must respect that and allow it (we can’t change it). His suggestion was to just keep on moving on with my own mission and not worry about the DROIDS that cannot be changed. When they are ready, they will come forward, and the important thing is to have the things in place they’ll need when they are ready.

That’s why we see a lot people around the world who ARE ready, who really “get it” and have BEEN ready, so they are rebuilding new ways of doing just about everything you can think of. All of our systems and structures are crumbling and fortunately, there are people who know this, care about it, and are preparing the way for others coming up from behind. There will be – and there is already happening – a paradigm shift and so the infrastructure has to be built now in order to accommodate those people who move along with the shift, or as my teacher put it, we will have something there “waiting for them.” Of course, that’s a song, so I’ll look it up on YouTube right now and see what comes up to the top. It may hold an important message.

We All Turn Back To Dust - From First To Last

While the title of the song alludes to returning to dust, it is actually conveying that who we are and what we are is more than a point of view. We can dream up our dreams – and then live out our dreams. Most people do not understand this, least of all, DROIDS. Thus, we can choose to live in freedom to be who we wish – if we can imagine “chains” that bind us, we can also imagine – and create freedom (no chains). This relates to the fact that there are people who “get it” as I just mentioned and they are preparing the infrastructure for other people who come to realize we can live in freedom and create our dreams come true.

That is how I interpret the song; there are always multiple interpretations since we are all different.

After the pep talk, my Master Teacher actually projected events for me for the next five years – the things that I will be accomplishing. He told me that I was “right on” with the direction of my dissertation and that the mistake too many people make is by not delving deeply enough into history. He said we must bring to light those contributors whose work has been swept under the rug if we are to create a more just society. He described it as finding the missing “puzzle pieces” because I perceive writing my dissertation using the bricolage as putting together a sort of puzzle; but not the traditional form of puzzle at all.

Marvin Gaye "Right On" (1971)

The person who posted the song provided a great analysis of this song, so here’s what they said.

rovingeye2 — December 09, 2008 — "Right On" is a 1971 song written by Earl DeRouen and Marvin Gaye and produced by Marvin, who issued the song on his landmark album, What's Going On. The song, which talked about the differences between the rich and poor, good and evil and other divisions, was built in a different musical texture than previous singles bringing in a Latin soul percussive style including maracas and a flute and fluent jazz-styled piano playing from Gaye. The song changed into abstract melodies and harmonies from Marvin with the first half in a settled mood, the second half a little more hasty as Marvin's lyrical content went from social to political and the third which was a more modest close in which Marvin preached how "love can conquer hate anytime" and telling someone close to him to come "to live where love is King" before ending in the song's first half musical production. The song then climaxes with Marvin segueing into "Wholy Holy". The title was also referenced in "What's Going On" so prominently and was so heralded that Marvin formed a production company titled Right On Productions soon afterwards.

I think this song “says it all.” It’s very beautiful – here  are the lyrics. I think my Master Teacher is telling me to try and love the DROIDS no matter what and he is expressing his love; he will be taking me to a place to live where love is King. There is more to this story, but I will leave it here. Also, in reading the interpretation above, it is interesting how the song evolved for Marvin Gaye into his own production company called Right On Productions. We never know sometimes where our creativity will lead us. The lyrics are so beautiful, with their focus on love, I have included them below.

Did you listen to that and follow the lyrics? Wow - that's REAL music. It seems like its from heaven it is so beautiful. I am just waiting for my Master Teacher to take me to that place where love is king (or the king is love, however that works).

And now “puzzle pieces.” This one is funny. My teacher often has to add a little humor and he knows I love that.  Here, we have a 14,000 piece puzzle (OMG) that represents putting together my dissertation. Once it’s together, people will try to take it apart, but it’s ok, because as Joe had stated in his book, Knowledge and Critical Pedagogy: An Introduction he has taken  the critical kitty out of the bag. This is too funny (in my view). So, that’s it for today – gotta get to work, putting together a puzzle (and I get to decide what the final picture is).

An extension of form into being is the intent of this first shift in your consciousness.  Going forward you will go far beyond this, but the doorway of moving form into being rather than doing and outward orientation is the first key for opening up your inner resources and becoming the inspired vessels emanating universal codes which is your mission at this time.

Next you will orient within being to subtle shifts in feeling within yourself.  Your feelings are powerful indicators of shifts in dimensions and you must begin to attune yourself to these awareness-es and recognition of them for what they are: multidimensional experiences.  You are as we and others have said many times before, alive in multiple realities simultaneously.  For some, such as our vessel here, we are living the same focal point in simultaneous parallel lives that are now blended and merged.  This unfolding is one which may have happened to some of you and may continue to happen to some of you—it is not always this way, but it can be.  In this situation one is working their blueprint and mission from multiple vantage points, and as is usually the case with Game Makers, also experimenting with the expression of their vision in multiple parallel realities as a way of perfecting and finely tuning the form being created through thought.

You are beginning to value yourselves and this valuing is something which will expand if you allow it to in ways which will, quite simply blow your minds.  The nervous systems in your bodies will simply implode in handling the new information = light as to what your real value is, so naturally this unfolds in pieces as you are able to assimilate it, release all the misleading and less empowered prior versions of identity, and open yourself once again for more information = light and with a sense of adventure and playfulness. Meanwhile your nervous system mutates in function and your DNA continues to reassemble continually upping the ante on what you are capable of remembering, creating and experiencing.

The game you are playing is far bigger than you imagine and you must begin to take charge entirely of your own experience and to be empowered within it from a sense of innate value and love of yourself.

Your body is the being which holds all the keys for creating life forms in other universes and which when radiating collectively with others at key frequencies allows the earth to function in her aspiration as a living library—encoding the energetic formulas for other life to be created, re-created or summoned again into form as determined by creator gods who wish to expand their experience through continually creating a new version or playing field for the game.

Knowing that you are far beyond the boundaries of your current sense of identity as well as your limited sense of “where” you are—you are far beyond your physicality here—does not mean that you do not hold all that you need within the body or bodies you exist within!  For your body is key to all you are and all you may be in fulfilling the blueprint you chose for yourself prior to commencing and imbedding yourself into this Earth game this time around.

I speak to you in all of this as one who recognizes that this is not the major dialogue of understanding and history which your culture as humans—Eastern, Western or otherwise—orients to in understanding its own origins, meaning, purpose and relationship to everyone and everything else.

Nonetheless, all I share with you is true and must be considered and felt-for in your own inner knowing centers to understanding the reason the time is ripe for you to re-align to the inner principals of the game you are playing and to take off your masks and stop brainwashing yourselves with the dialogue of the main stream anesthetizing “lies” which are no longer useful in your development.  Like many developmental creations, they served a purpose but have now created distortion of that purpose and furthermore the karma of that purpose has come around again and it is now time to unleash yourselves from those ridiculous masters who are nothing less than negatively oriented versions of yourself!

Let them go and find their own ways home and back to source.  This is not your concern—to persecute them or to name them, but simply to release yourselves from their hold and move on to your own meaning and lifestyle.

The new earth awaits you.  Clusters of energetic focus are already vibrating at new earth frequencies and you will increasingly be drawn to them and able to find them in order to magnify your discrete and particular sense of how to best diversify and fulfill the mission at hand with your own energies.

Each of you holds keys that will awaken and ignite others into action and awareness if you but give in to your inner urgings and trust them. There is no game more fun than this if you only realize this and allow yourself to open to the larger realities in play here.  You will not likely fully understand all of this while in form, but your sense of the whole will orient and release you enough to function with all of your brain and with the finer impulses of your body and your DNA reconnected and living in full alignment and connection with the 12 chakras in your bodies which connect with the 12 energy portals of the planet and which open you to ecstasy in form!

Need I promise you more to get you to simply walk away from the old world forms and turn your attention completely to your inner urgings and glimpses?

Earthlings.  Many of you are stellar beings disguised in form to assist in this transition back to light for the planet Earth.  There is no time to waste as your blueprint is poetic and harmonious—which is of more value than your realize for these words in the Earth plane do not hold the value that is truly theirs anywhere else. 

Cooperation, harmony, respect for life in all forms and a desire to balance and harmonize with your creative powers.  This is the goal which you share as a universal blueprint with all other ascending beings on the planet at this time/point of NOW.

For those of you who have come here from the future it is imperative that you stop your longing for home and your whining about wanting to go there now and etc…and instead use your longing to orient you to the mission critical of your blueprint and wake yourself up.  The alarm clock can go off and your mother can call you that it’s time to get up, but only you can get up out of the bed and go to meet the day with enthusiasm, willingness and a sense of your own power!

What are you waiting for?!!  The cosmic party is assembling and those of you who are unwilling to speak openly of your awakening or long existing multi-dimensionality will be sorry later that you did not simply share and allow your energetic codes to awaken and create freedom and life in others.  There is no one who will not awaken who chooses to, but the beauty and joy of participation will be something you’ve lost and that is what you came here for.

So step out of the shadows and stop watching and observing from the sidelines: get in the game.

Half-time is over and the whistle is blowing your name.  Let the sounds you hear and the words you find remind you: remember.  We are here.

Yesterday I discussed in detail the power of soulmate love; today I will put these ideas in concrete educational terms (to the best of my ability, given that I am still learning these very complex ideas). One of the missions of using the bricolage as a learning and research methodology is to explore relationships between what might be perceived as differences, including differences that we cannot see, hear, touch, taste, etc. With soul mates you have the male and feminine aspects, the yin and yang, so to speak, and of course, many differences that are beneath the immediate ordinary perceptions. When soul mates come together as a couple, their synergy creates a remarkable power. It is similar to how Einstein was able to show that gravity is not a thing at all, but is the result of relationships between objects – between mass, space, and time. The greater the differences, the more objects, and the more relationships one can find -- the greater the power. Thus, the more hidden relationships one can find, the more powerful the theory, according to Einstein. Interestingly, it has been shown by scientists that distance and time do not affect the power of relationship between objects due to the quantum leap and the folding of space. There is much more science behind this, as well as experiments that illustrate this phenomenon, which I will explain in more detail in my dissertation. (Kincheloe; Kincheloe & Berry, 2004).

Joe discusses this in the book, Rigour and Complexity in Educational Research: Conceptualizing the Bricolage that he co-authored with Kathleen Berry. He covers the theory and then Kathleen Berry describes technically, how we can employ the bricolage in our learning and research. Our purpose is to gain as many perspectives as reasonably possible in order to generate knowledge that leads to social change and transformation. Dominance of one view over another, for example, an ideology, can no longer occur when one has threaded through multiple ideologies and other constructs and ends up creating new perspectives or ways of viewing the issue at hand. The goal is to “overcome the linear, single-voiced, scientific rationality of traditional, dominant empiricist research of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies” (Berry; Kincheloe & Berry, p. 106).

This repetition of threading through the text with numerous structures changes the knowledge and understanding we began with. The more we thread through the Point of Entry Text (POET), the more complexity is engaged, and a butterfly image emerges through the employment of the bricolage if you diagram it as illustrated in Figure 3, Butterfly of Complexity, p. 113. The bricoleur must determine a good stopping point, since there are infinite possibilities and the bricolage can continue to be employed indefinitely. Joe’s theory gives us guidance for which interpretations we select for employment, or threading through the initial POET, as well as where we might stop. He lists the criteria for selecting particular interpretations on pages 100-102. And as he states, bricoleurs “choose particular interconnections because of their relevance to the alleviation of human suffering and the cultivation of the intellect. Thus, they seek both social and personal change” (p. 66). And of course, ultimately, as Joe has pointed out in several of his books, we produce knowledge that changes the world.

This is a great book and will inform my own research. I wonder who came up with the idea to put the butterfly on the cover – Joe or Kathleen. It is quite an absract design, but of course, a person whose name means butterfly would recognize that it is indeed, a butterfly. I think the book was written especially for me, lol. It will be my “Bible” as I continue forth with my dissertation. Thank you, Joe and Kathleen; this is a great book. And I love the butterfly!

Meeting With My Master Teacher
My meetings last night and this morning were short. Just more reassurance that everything is going to be fine. Oh, I did have what I think might be the BIG SURPRISE yesterday, or at least leading up to it. It is quite amazing. I am going to wait just a bit to see how it turns out. What I can say is that it is a very small world sometimes, in that I miraculously reconnected with someone who I had no idea where he had moved to. It was almost a fluke that we connected, except that I would not call divine intervention a fluke. Just as my Master Teacher promised, he and others have clearly been working behind the scenes to help me move forward. More about that later. I was left with two beautiful love songs, so here they are. (The clues were simply "rest" and "Love you, Babe.")
